Nokia N86 Review

Today, I am going to do a review of the latest mobile handset from Nokia. The Handset we are going to review is Nokia N86. It is the first mobile handset from Nokia which is having a feature of an 8 Mega pixel camera. The phone is having some great features but the weight of the phone is slightly high. This model is similar to that of Nokia N85 and the only difference between these two models is the Nokia N86 is having a high resolutions camera with more memory.

There are some issues with the reliability of the phone with the S60 3rd edition, feature pack two operating system. The only NSeries phone which was successful with Nokia is N97 and we recommend buying N97 compare to Nokia N86.

Nokia N86 Features Includes:
  • Series 60 Symbian interface (version 3.2)
  • 8 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Tessar lens, auto focus, dual led flash, 20x digital zoom.
  • Video camera: MPEG4/3GP VGA video captures at 640X480 pixels and 30 frames/second with digital stereo microphone.
  • Front camera for video calling.
  • Video and still image editors.
  • Display: OLED, 16 million colors.
  • Digital music player.
  • GPS navigation with Nokia Maps.
  • Messaging: SMS, MMS, Email.
  • Java Games.
  • Memory: 8 GB plus microSD memory card slot and expandable up to 16 GB.
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, USB 2.0, WLAN, TV-Out, 3.5 mm stereo headphone plug.
  • WAP, EGPRS class B, WCDMA/HSPDA
  • Size: 103 x 51 x 18.5 mm
  • Weight: 149g
  • Battery standby: 363 hours.

The best thing about Nokia N86 is its build in memory capacity of 8 GB which is exceptionally great. However, the weight of the phone is little worry for the people who hate to carry weighted phones. All other features are ok and the phone gives a very good browsing experience as well.

You can install Symbian supported software’s as well. You can change the themes according to our mood. You can browse our blog for latest N86 themes as well as supported Symbian software’s.

Rating: 3 out of 5.
